Playing at the Thistle Hotel, Exeter
The Obligato String Quartet is based in Devon, UK and was formed in 2008. Current members are Rebecca Willson, Ayesha Ichsan, Hannah Cook, Julian Ashwin, Flora Farquharson, Hannah Willson and Susannah Stevenson
Past events have included many weddings, church and civil ceremonies, evening meals and parties, graduation celebrations, charity events, garden parties and opening events
We can tailor our music to your event and your desired atmosphere. Our repertoire contains all the traditional String Quartet repertoire, such as: Pachebel's Canon, Bach's Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring and Air on a G String, Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Braham's Hungarian Dances and Handel's Water Music.
In contrast, we also have a number or film and television themes such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Doctor Who, James Bond, Wallace and Gromit and Mamma Mia and well as Tangos, Music from West End Musicals and Traditional Jigs, Reels and Hornpipes.
